Our client wanted to promote and increase the sales of Pond’s Super Light Gel, an all-season moisturizer on their D2C website. They aimed to expand their audience base and reach out to the younger generation.

Helping POND'S reach newer generations innovatively

Unilever, parent company of Pond’s, approached us for their next marketing campaign targeting Millennials & Gen Z. They wanted to expand their customer base by connecting and influencing the younger audience.

For this, they approached us to create an AR marketing campaign. We had an in-depth discussion on their goal and suggested taking the gaming route to offer an AR experience.

Understanding the customer demographic complexion

Since the campaign targeted the Indian market, it was important to tune the AI as per local customer needs. So we conducted extensive research to understand the audience, their culture, and preferences.

We also had to take into account the wide palette of skin complexion of Indian demography. The game involved changes in skin appearance. This had to match the skin tone and features of the audience.

Extensive Testing Drive

Since it was a WebAR game experience, we had to test it for a range of browsers and devices. We conducted testing in multiple phases gradually covering every platform and device. We also had to make sure the live URL was running smoothly.

Collaboration, Correspondence & Convergence

Another challenge was to establish better coordination and collaboration with the Pond’s internal team as it involved multiple stakeholders. Hence, the coordination among these parties was of paramount importance. We assigned a dedicated Project Manager for seamless interaction with Pond’s respective teams.
